She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Hevley and Ina Hevley; and her son Ronald Thompson. She is survived by: her daughters, Candace Gezella, Kimberly Geen (Richard), Debbie Kaminski and Donna Heathman; and her grandchildren, Ronald Thompson, Jerry Thompson, Kevin Thompson, Christine Thompson, Roy Gezella, Terry Heathman, Ryan Heathman, Megan Beckwith, Scott Kaminski, Kelly Millen, Aaron Geen, Jacob Geen and Kallie Geen.

In lieu of flowers memorials in Emma's name may be made to the American Diabetes association or Kidney foundation.
