He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Cox and Mary Savannah Cox (Epperson); and his siblings, Margaret LaFavor, Bud Cox, Pauline Finke, Anna Lee Barron and Nina Schneider.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Cox (Hix); his children, Sandra Cox and Larry Cox (Kim); his grandchildren, Carmen Cox, Lexie (Cox), Gillotti (Dominick) and Quincy Cox; his great grandchild Lindy Gillotti; and his siblings, Gerald Cox (Kay) and Nadine Gist. He is also survived by extended family, nieces and nephews and friends.
The family suggests contributions to the First Baptist Church or Crossroads Hospice in care of the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor.
