She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry Hix and Odessa Iva Hix (Schoonover); and her siblings, Dale Hix, Von Hix, Keith Hix, Stanley Hix, Dwight Hix, Shirley Reed, Marilyn White, Phyllis Deardueff and Virgie Harms.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Cox and Larry Cox (Kim); her grandchildren, Carmen Cox, Lexie (Cox), Gillotti (Dominick) and Quincy Cox; her great grandchild Lindy Gillotti; her siblings, Hoyt Hix (Sammie), Ron Hix and Kay Cox (Gerald); and her siblings-in-law, Gwen Hix, Nadine Gist and Claire Reed. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces.
The family suggests contributions to the First Baptist Church in care of the funeral home.
