He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Eugene Womble, Jr.; his wife Carol Marie Schultz (Perkins); his mother Mardelle Womble; his stepson Jeff Schultz; his brothers, Gary Womble and Richard "Rick" Womble (Kathy); his siblings-in-law, Terry Perkins (Shirley) and Jeanne Nance (Ray); his nieces and nephews, Anne Weyrauch, Tim Womble, Lora Howard, Kristen Womble, Matthew Womble, David Perkins, Natalie Manier and Marty Box; and his sister-in-law Kay Womble.
