We bid farewell to John D. Barney of Leeton, Missouri, born in Greenfield, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 28, 2024 at the age of 61. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Orie Barney and Lorraine Barney (Bryant); and his brother Tim Barney. He is survived by: his wife Silvia Barney (Berger); his children, Ashley Barney of North Carolina, Elaina Hickox (Luke) of San Antonio, Nate Bayless (Katherine) of Calhoun, Sam Bayless (Shelby) of Knob Noster and Ike Bayless (Maddy) of Tacoma, Washington; his grandsons, Gabriel, Fischer and Brier; and his brother Phil Barney (Susan) of Ohio. He is also survived by his family, fellow comrades, friends, and his faithful dog.
