It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jewell James of Leeton, Missouri, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on February 25, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Poole and Elizabeth Louise Linder; her stepfather David E. Samuels II; and her brother David E. Samuels III. She is survived by: her husband Raymond Lee James; her grandchildren, Hannah A. Cook and Gabriel C. Cook; and her sisters, Shirelle Alexander, Jeanette Battle and Beverly Robinson. She is also survived by brother and sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews.
