He is survived by: his wife Marianne Rhoades; his sons, Gary Wayne Rhoades II, Lee Shannon Rhoades and Alex Ryan Rhoades; his daughter-in-law Christina Huber Rhoades; and his sister Joyce Shumate.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made to Old Drum Animal Shelter in Warrensburg.
