He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Bantrup and Florence Bantrup (Young); his wife Marilyn L. Meisinger; his daughter Jennifer Bantrup; and his sister Pamela Hillis.
He is survived by: his children, Denise Gates (Michael), Christopher Bantrup and Gregory Bantrup (Tera); his grandchildren, Grant Gates, Amy Zadeh (Matt), Catherine Bolling (Travis), Christopher Gates (Abby), Mary Gates, Danielle Bantrup, Sydney Bantrup, Avery Bantrup and Madison Nason; his great grandchildren, Corbin, Alice, Max Zadeh and Nora Gates; his brother-in-law Randy Hillis; and his nephew Jeffrey Hillis. He is also survived by relatives and fantastic neighbors.
