He was predeceased by: his parents, William Evans and Julia Evans; and his siblings, Ricky, Carl and Kathy Evans.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Evans; his stepchildren, Victorie Kelley, Tondaling Thomas (Floyd) and Vonzell Kelley, Jr.; his grandchildren, Darius Hollwell, Akila Hollwell, Vonzell Kelley III, Dajha Kelley, Nia Abdullah and Jalila Abdullah; his siblings, Gail Evans-Harris (John) of Kingsport, TN, Dale Evans (Marie) of Norfolk, VA and John Evans of Kingsport, TN; his uncle Jack; and his aunt Betsy Pierce of Kingsport, TN. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
