He is survived by: his mother Carol Matakas (Young); his wife Melisa Sieben-Matakas; his daughter Shelby Matakas; and his siblings, Steve Matakas (Melinda) and Rachel Matakas (Stephanie McIntyre). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
