He is survived by: his children, Kelly Prorok (Mike) of Missouri, Brenda Mallicoat, Janet Carwile (John) of Missouri, Thomas Coan Jr. (Kathy), James Coan (Lorraine) of Minnesota and John Coan of Connecticut; and his grandchildren, Chet Strope, Pam Campbell (Jeff), Becci Swillum (Jack), Debbie Morga (Naz), Michelle Mallicoat, Nathan Coan (Sarah), Britni Emberton (Kelly), Krista Bird (Todd), Josh Coan (Jocelyn), Ricky Coan, Roger Coan (Melinda), Rhiannon Stark (Leslie) and Justin Danburg (Joella). He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
