It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven Randolph Byars MD of Lees Summit, Missouri, born in Beatrice, Nebraska, who passed away on July 11, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Preston Byars and Ione Byars. He is survived by: his wife Donna Byars of Lee's Summit, MO; his son Dr. Michael (Lundy); his grandchildren, Daley and Cal of Kansas City, MO; his son Andrew Byars of Lee's Summit, MO; his brother Rev. Ronald Byars (Susan); his sister-in-law Janet Byars of Beatrice, Nebraska; and his nephews, Steven Byars, Matthew Byars, Mark Byars and Jon Byars.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Steve's honor to the University of Nebraska Foundation: Parkinson's Disease Research and Education Fund.
