He is survived by: his wife Melinda Ramirez Setser; his sons, Dominic and Diego; his parents, Billy Setser and Linda Setser; and his sister Sara Chapman. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Scott Setser Memorial Fund for Mindy Setser.
