It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy D. Ball (Lees Summit, Missouri), born in Ackworth, Iowa, who passed away on July 11, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Minerva Ball and Harold Ball; his siblings, Howard, Ivyl, Edith and Raymond; and his sister-in-law Arlene.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Viles; and his daughters, Cythnia Ebbert (Bryan), Julie Lacy (Ron), Catherine Brattin (Kenneth) and Laurie Steffee (Sean). He is also survived by his eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church or Advanced Hospice of Kansas City.
