He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ransburg Sr. and Mattie Ransburg; his siblings, William Ransburg, Johnnie Ransburg, John Henry Ransburg, Arthur Earl Ransburg, Stevie Ransburg, James Ransburg Jr. and Lester Ransburg Sr. Additionally; and his children, Barbara Ransburg Harkrader, Raymond D. Ransburg and Clifford Ransburg.
He is survived by: his wife Edith E. Ransburg; his children, Dr. Robert L. Ransburg Jr., Sheila Ransburg, James Rufus Ransburg, Delisa Thomas Taylor, Guybrett Shores, Claudia Ransburg, William Michael Shaw, Maxine Ransburg Turner and Mary Ransburg Marfo; and his sisters, Luecinda Hill, Ida Mae Lewis and Darlene White.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Rock Outreach Center (1700 SW Market St, Lee's Summit, MO 64082).
