He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. and Marie (Oyler); his aunt Martha Belle; his uncle Jesse Saye; and his grandmother Rubey Aileen Lyle (Kelley).
He is survived by: his wife Ginger Beckfield (Beckfield); his children, Darin Lyle, Donna (Lyle) and Miles (Stephen); his grandchildren, Jessica Smith (Lyle), Jennifer Lyle, Lapo Miles and Kebede Miles; his sister Mary Lee (Lyle) Hlavate (Paul); and his half-brothers, Max and Mark Lyle.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Matthew Lutheran Church (700 NE Chipman Rd, Lee's Summit, MO 64063). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery (20109 MO-13 BUS, Higginsville, MO 64037).
