It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rita Marie Diehl of Lees Summit, Missouri, who passed away on July 23, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Angela Klos and Joseph Klos; her daughter Luci; and her siblings, Joe, Eva, Martha and Rosie.

She is survived by: her children, Ted (Fawn) of Lee's Summit, James of Denver and Katy (Scott) of Lee's Summit; her grandchildren, Gabriel, Laura, Thomas, Andrew and Jacob; and her siblings, Margie Skistimas, Danny and Jimmy Klos.

She donated several of her hand painted religious icons to a number of parishes and clergy, bringing her great joy and satisfaction.
