Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Richard Murray of Lees Summit, Missouri, born in Lackawanna, New York, who passed away at the age of 78, on August 25, 2023. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Murray of Washington and Mary Jane Murray (Kavanaugh); and his sister Katherine Degenhardt of East Hampton, MA.. He is survived by: his wife Diane Sue Nolan; his brothers, Edward (Dianne) of Charlottesville, VA and Patrick (Deborah) of Springfield, MA; his children, Brian (Carrie) of Prairie Village, KS and Kristin Bechtel (Travis) of Chappaqua, NY; and his grandchildren, Hannah, Luke, Nolan, Abigail, Wilson and Margo Jayne.

In lieu of flowers, the Murray family kindly asks for donations to the Down Syndrome Innovations of Kansas City.
