He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Reynold Peterson and Lorraine Peterson (Skoglund); his wife Cherie Peterson (Moore); his children, Carrie Peterson (Jon) of Acworth, Georgia, Kim Street (Jim) of Garland, Texas and Bryan Peterson (Jackie) of Greenwood; his grandchildren, Hampton, Hunter, Haley Peterson, Brenna, Jillian Street, Hannah and Braden Peterson; his cousins, Ellery Cossalter, Duane Cossalter, Tim Cossalter, Susie Georgieve, Judy Skorich and Chuck Bloomquist; and his aunt Ruth. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hope Network or Shelter KC.
