She was predeceased by: her husband John Joseph Hughes; her parents, Chester Stewart and Maxine Stewart; her children, John Joseph Hughes II, Joseph Michael Hughes and Mary Beth Rick; her grandchildren, Jennifer Stephens and Jacob Blair; and her great grandchildren, Jared Gardner and Thomas Hampton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Anne Roberts, Joan Blair and Jane Zapien (Joseph); her grandchildren, Shannon Masterson (Chris), Amanda Roberts (Bishop), Allison Roberts, Christopher Blair (Keauna), Mathew Blair, Nate Blair (Dani), Jeremiah Zapien (Lacie), Jonathon Zapien (Kelly), Daniel Zapien (Samantha), Robert Zapien (Lisa), Sammi Jo Bailey (Josh), Keelan Campbell (Payton), Bella Hughes Bailey, Suzanne Gardner (Kerry), Christina Whaley (Derick), Jamie Cline, David Rick, Lacy Rick, Kolbe Hughes (Naudika), Lucy Hughes, Brigid Hughes (Jose), Liam Hughes and Jessica Renz (Bobby); her brother Jeryl Stewart (Judy); and her sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Krause and Rosemary Hughes. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Nancy also found peace in praying the rosary daily and frequently participated in church activities, such as working in the nursery at St. Mark Catholic Church until it temporarily closed due to Covid restrictions.
