Melvin Coulter Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Coulter in Lees Summit, Missouri, who passed away on April 14, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Coulter and Elma Coulter (Wirsig); his stepmother Anna May Coulter; his sisters, Doris Hebert (Larry) and Kathryn Snyder (Paul); his sister-in-law Lunexa Wyre (McKeehan); his great great grandchild Jackson James Lytton; and his brother-in-law Dwight Ricker.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Coulter; his children, Connie Coulter Swisher and Gary Coulter (Donna); and his grandchildren, Brett Swisher (Johnna), Bobbi Swisher, Amanda Asher (Tyler) and Megan Guevara (Jorge). He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shawnee Mound Cemetery Association or the Warrensburg Elks Lodge #673 and left in care of the funeral home.
