She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Hyde and Elsie Hyde; her husband Riley Roy Madewell; her siblings, Phyllis Salabert, Roger Hyde, Larry Hyde and Thomas Stutchman; and her stepmother Lorene Hyde.

She is survived by: her children, Lanny Hobby (Denise) of Taney Town, Maryland, Cecelia Sangunett of Burke and Ramona Vann (Derek) of Blue Springs, MO; her siblings, Norma Patterson of Redfield, SD, Sandra Neilsen of Milwaukee, WI, Ronnie Hyde of Wisconsin, Everett Hyde (Ruth Ann) of Wisconsin, Sid Hyde (Debbie) of Wisconsin and Kent Hyde (Linda) of Wisconsin; her grandchildren, Bryan Hobby, Brandi Sangunett (Kumar), Kelly Hobby Bishop (Sean), Eric Hobby (Cait), Kalen Vann and Jamie Wright; and her great grandchildren, Tasea Jurwich, Denver Mariah Musgrave, Rowan Mehta, Connor Bishop and Estelle Hobby. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
