It is with great sadness that we announce the death of LaVerne Heider-Harlow of Lees Summit, Missouri, born in Ottawa, Kansas, who passed away on October 10, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her brother Bob; her spouse Rene John Harlow; and her son David Norman Heider. She is survived by: her children, Frank and Laura Lickteig (Czarnowski); her son-in-law Jesus; and her children, Jesus, Janet Kral (Ted Scott) of Lee's Summit, MO, Bob Heider (Linda) of Edgerton, KS, Wayne Heider (Laveda) of Harrisonville, MO, Randy Heider (Julie) of Brunswick, GA, Peggy Kenter (Jerry) of Plano, TX, Patricia McGinnis of Tacoma, WA, Joerene Heider of Harrisonville, MO, Mary Webers (Dave) of Plano, TX, Nancy Remy of Spanaway, WA and Cheryl Brackin (Jim) of Jasper, GA.. She is also survived by 10 children, 22 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and 5 greatgreat-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care Hospice House who compassionately cared for LaVerne her last days here on earth.
