We are sad to announce that on June 1, 2022, at the age of 90, Joseph Jerome Paxton of Lees Summit, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Lorna; his son-in-law Col Christopher J Wilson; and his sisters, Earleen Dick, Elaine Harvey, Karen Martin and Sharon Holley.
He is survived by: his children, Keith Paxton (Edie) of Bella Vista, AR, Jay Paxton of Raymore, MO and Sherry Wilson of Andover, KS; his grandchildren, Lucas (Joanna), Haylee and Natalie; and his great grandchildren, Megan, Madison and Valerie.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, consider a donation to one of Joe's preferred charitable organizations; Wayside Waifs Animal Shelter of Kansas City or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
