It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanne R. Carthy of Lees Summit, Missouri, born in East Saint Louis, Illinois, who passed away on February 20, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Joanne departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Joanne. Though Joanne may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ray L. Carthy and Mae K. Carthy (Billen).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stanley Edenburn Funeral Home (203 N Armstrong St, Pleasant Hill, MO 64080). A Mass will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Bridget Catholic Church (2103 Lexington Rd, Pleasant Hill, MO 64080).
