She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" Ficek and Rose Ficek; and her sisters, Rita Purcell and Judy Guyn. She is survived by: her husband Richard; her sons, Andrew Richard Baker (Felicia) of Lee's Summit, Kenneth Joseph Baker (Sara) of Warrensburg and Christopher Douglas Baker of Centerview, Missouri; her grandchildren, Chloe Ashton, Emily Baker, Madison Bailey (Baker), Joseph Baker, Jessica Baker, Elizabeth Baker and Samantha Baker; her great grandchild Evelyn; and her siblings, Ruth Stepien of Olathe and Mark Ficek (Luisa) of Guaynabo.

Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Speaks Suburban Chapel (18020 East 39th St S, Independence, MO 64055). A rosary was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Mt Olivet Catholic Cemetery (7601 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, MO 64138). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Presentation Catholic Church (130 NW Murray Rd, Lee's Summit, MO 64081). The inurnment was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Mt Olivet Catholic Cemetery (7601 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, MO 64138).
