It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Galpin of Lees Summit, Missouri, who passed away on June 2, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan Galpin to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, H. Roy Galpin and Kathryn Galpin (Stout); and her sisters, Mary Pettegrew, Geraldine Brown and Nancy Kirk.
She is survived by: her children, Roy Vance (Elizama) of Lee's Summit, MO, Elizabeth Elliott (Charles) of Lee's Summit, MO, Christa Hernandez (Fred) of Olathe, KS and Ivan Vance of Olathe, KS. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren; other extended family.
