It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jim Valentik of Lees Summit, Missouri, who passed away on April 27, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve G. Valentik and Ruth Valentik (Kendall); his siblings, Carol Ann Valentik, Steve P. Valentik and Bette; and his brother-in-law Bill Griggs.
He is survived by: his wife Kay; his daughter Krista (TJ); his granddaughter Emily Steiner (Madison); his siblings-in-law, Mike Green (Janet) and Juli Wingert (Keith); and his pets, Gabby, Milky, Finn and Huck. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial Contributions. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Missouri Patriot Paws (mopatriotpaws.org), Good Sports.org, or donations can be made out to Kay Valentik, and they will be used for a non-profit we are establishing in Coach Val's name to support local softball (Mexico and Community RVI) and Mexico high school football.
