She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Bruce and Tess Bruce; and her brother Robert Bruce. She is survived by: her brother Terry Bruce; her sister-in-law Gloria Bruce; her nieces and nephews, Terry King, Traci Meirath, Mike King (Sandra), David King and Steve King (Abby); her grandchildren, Amanda, Britaney, Shane, Alexander, Dylan, Jacob, Samantha, Isabella, Maria, Trevor, Brianna, Mya and Alton; her great grandchildren, Corbin of Kansas City, Lily of Kansas City, Ollie of Kansas City, Christopher of Kansas City and Felicidy of Kansas City; and her husband George Alan King. She is also survived by children taught her how to mother.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are encouraged to the Bishop Sullivan Center.
