It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Marie Morehead of Lees Summit, Missouri, born in Columbus, Georgia, who passed away on November 2, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her birth-father A. J. Locke; her niece Rhonda Adkins; her nephew Geoff Miller; her mother Voncile N. Pinner; her sister Diane S. Leslie; and her stepfather Harley E. Reece.
She is survived by: her husband John Ike Morehead; her sisters, Ginger Dickson and Angela Packham; her siblings-in-law, Richard Dickson, Mike Morehead, Tim Morehead, Brooke Morehead and Sherri Morehead; and her nieces and nephews, Melody Dickson Truitt (Ellijah), Heather Rardon, Megan Hoban (Brian), Kate Sullinger (Mike), Melissa Hunter (Jeff), Reece Dickson, Chad Morehead (Whitney) and Tyler Morehead (Brooke).
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (101 W Baker St, Milan, MO 63556). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
