He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Stout and Melissa Stout (Griffin); his wife Mattie Stout (Danel); and his daughter Freida Brown (Stout). He is survived by: his siblings, Mary and Gilcrease Museum; his children, Elaine (Jim McClanahan) and James A. Stout, Jr.; his grandchildren, Jude, Titus, Evy, Tilly, Nathan and Lori Brown; his great grandchildren, Grayson, Ysabella, Canon, Sawyer, Elias, Ezra and Silas; his grandchild Toby (Jennifer); his great grandchildren, Bailey and Parker; his grandson Isaac (Rebecca); and his great grandchildren, Ellianna and Vivilynn.
