It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Kathryn Shirk of Lees Summit, Missouri, born in Barnett, Missouri, who passed away on September 15, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Dobson and Maude Dobson; and her sisters, Della McCarthy and Thelma Cleary. She is survived by: her husband Richard Shirk; her daughters, Lori Stier (Ron) and Keri Porter (Jim); and her grandchildren, Emily, Annie, Blake and Tara.
