He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Steinbach and Evelyn Steinbach (Newland); his brother Larry Steinbach; his granddaughter Robin Lewin; and his son-in-law Rodney Dunn.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Bessey of Overland Park, KS; his children, Paul Steinbach (Carrie), Jay Bessey (Mary), Brenda Drury (Doug), Tracy Shumate (Kenny) and Toni Lewin (Craig); his grandchildren, Annika Steinbach, Ellie Steinbach, Trevor Dunn (Carmen), Jeremy Dunn, Corey Dunn, Mallary Shumate, Kole Shumate, Eric Lewin (Traci), Jami Bessey, Christine Bessey, Kate Field (Bob), Cassidy Drury and Ginger Drury; his great grandchildren, Zackary Lewin, Parker Field, Caden Field and Poppi Drury; his sister Jean Ferry (Jim); and his siblings-in-law, Ken and Sondra Regier. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
