With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Grace D. Bender of Lees Summit, Missouri, born in Whiting, Kansas, who passed away on July 23, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Henry and Ruth Chick (Mercer); and her siblings, Lloyd Chick, Donald Chick, Hazel Miles and Leona McQueen.
She is survived by: her sons, Bill Bender of Topeka and Steve Bender Bender (DeAnn) of Lee's Summit; her siblings, Duane Chick and Nadine Clay; and her granddaughters, Christa, Michele and Natalie. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
