He is survived by: his significant other Margaret Campos; his pet Apollo; his children, Angela Salas (Joe), Edward Metcalf, Desirae Metcalf (Jay) and Jessica Metcalf; his grandchildren, Angelo Rodriguez (Nicole), Michael Rodriguez, Jr. (Jessica), Caden Metcalf, Dominic Metcalf, Paige Metcalf and Ava Neyens; his great grandchildren, Ava, Elijsha, Aria, Azrael, Ezra, Roman and Camila; and his siblings, Larry Metcalf, Wanda Graham and Robin Leach. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The military honors was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the McGilley & Sheil Funeral Home (11924 E 47th St, Kansas City, MO 64133).
