He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Herndon and Edith Herndon (Grainger). He is survived by: his wife Janice (O'Neal); his sister Joanne Corlew (Dick); his children, Joe Herndon (Cathy) and Sarah Bloom (Rawlin); his grandsons, Trevor, Joey and Danny; and his great grandchild Aisely.
