It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Eugene Bowers of Lees Summit, Missouri, born in Independence, Missouri, who passed away on January 14, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Alfred Bowers; his grandmother Fretwell; his wife Norma Bowers; and his brother Donald Bowers. He is survived by: his children, Sheri Elliot (Stuart), Gary M. Bowers (Jennifer), Diana Bowers and Lisa Cox (Scott); and his grandchildren, Kristi Atkins (Tim), Kelly Marx (Andrew), Matthew Bowers (Heather), Brittney Frye (Kyle), Corey Bowers, Tanner Bury (Emily) and Kelsey Bowers. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
