He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Sheets and Lenora Sheets; his brother Jim Sheets; and his wife Sandy. He is survived by: his siblings, Janice Hohenberg and Ralph Sheets Jr. (Sandie); his sister-in-law Shirley Parks (Michael); his children, Kevin Sheets (Terri), Matthew (Michele) and Lisa Duncan (James); and his grandchildren, Jessica Koch (Tom), Gregory Sheets (Elizabeth), Payton Sheets, Mason Sheets and Trenton Sheets.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations in Gary's name to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or the Saint Luke's Foundation.
