He was predeceased by: his parents, James William Bechel and Gladys Marie Bechel (Hall); and his siblings, Wanda Gannaway, Linda Angelbeck and Gene Bechel.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Bechel; his children, Patricia Anne (Kristyna) and Gregory Allen (Aleesha); his uncle JD Hall; his mother-in-law Gerry Kunard; his siblings-in-law, Darrell Kunard (Joyce), Joyce Lassiter and Denise Lees (Kelly); his nieces and nephews, Ed Gannaway (Judi), Lucas Bechel (Sonja), Sharon Meece (Tim), Barbara Smith (Jeff) and Crystal Jennings (Robert); his nephew-in-law Brian Lassiter (Trina); and his nieces-in-law, Kristin Kunard and Leah Kunard. He is also survived by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
