He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sharon Doane (Kunzweiler); and his parents, Elmer L. Sr. Doane and Evalena Doane. He was also cherished by his ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

Elmer L. Doane Jr. went to be with the Lord on May 4th after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's.
