He was predeceased by: his mother Daisy Irene Trent of Kamrar; his former wife Verna Mae Long of Canyon City; his wife Martha Lauchlan; his father Clarence V. Day; his former wife Lillian Adkinson; his siblings, Vernon Leslie Day of Braddyville, Leland Lavern Day of Holden, Donald H. Day of Kansas City, Lila Irene Huntsman of Mount Ayr and Thelma Louise Huber of Lenox, Iowa; and his sons, Clarence Darwin Day (Hackett) of Florida and George Day of California.
He is survived by: his siblings, George, Brenda, Eugene and Anita; and his children, Brenda Morton of Maxwell, California, Eugene Day of Williams, California and Anita Keech of California. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
