It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ruth Bakker (Lees Summit, Missouri), born in Port Chester, New York, who passed away on August 9, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Zwick and Francis Zwick. She is survived by: her husband Bruce; her daughters, Kimberly and Heidi (Steve); her grandchildren, Caitlin (James), Sarah (Brandon), Taylor (Cody), Amelia and TJ (Doane); and her great grandchildren, Esme and Maggie.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, a cause close to Barbara's heart.
