Augustin Riedi Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Augustin Riedi in Lees Summit, Missouri, who passed away on December 27, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Othmar Riedi and Maria Barbara Riedi; and his sister Martina Riedi. He is survived by: his close friend Chateaubriand; his wife LaVerne J Riedi; his siblings, Antonia Camenisch-Riedi, Plazi Joseph Riedi and Laura Riedi; his children, Ursula Elizabeth Kohlstaedt (Christopher), Lorenz Othmar Riedi (Regina) and Karl Joesph Riedi (Sandra); his grandsons, James W Murray (Megan), Christopher J Kohlstaedt (Casie) and Jean-Noel Spring; his great grandchildren, Leona, Daphne Murray and Ari; and his stepchildren, Debbie Nehring, Vicky Roundy, Cindy Turner, Susan Greenwald, Victor Stueve III, John Stueve, William Stueve, Robert Stueve, Corinne Drummond, Rosina Yoemans, Pamela Stueve and James E Stueve. He is also survived by 15 children, 35 grand children and 50+ great grandchildren.
The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations to be made to the Kansas City Swiss Society.
