We are sad to announce that on February 27, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Allen Matthes of Lees Summit, Missouri, born in Pleasant Hill, Missouri. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter F. Matthes and Adabel E. Matthes (Roush); his son James Matthes; and his grandson Travis Kanies. He is survived by: his daughter Renea Matthes Mitra (Raj) of Lee's Summit; his daughter-in-law Theresa Matthes of Pleasant Hill; his grandchildren, Pamela VanMeter (Nathan) of Pleasant Hill, Alex Matthes (Angela) of Pleasant Hill, Jacob Matthes of Lee's Summit and Teri Kanies of Lee's Summit; his great grandchildren, Lillian Matthes, Adonis Matthes, Jax VanMeter and Lucas VanMeter; and his brother Bill Matthes of Lee's Summit. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Masonic Home of Missouri and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
