It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Albert Eugene Purtle Sr. (Lees Summit, Missouri), who passed away on January 5, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Albert and Dorothy Cecelia Purtle (Sturgis); his wife Rose Marie Purtle; his brothers, Bruce Purtle and Bryan Purtle; and his son Rick Roark.
He is survived by: his children, Albert "Gene" Purtle, Jr. (Susan), Lonny Purtle (Yolanda), Anthony "Tony" Purtle (Martha), Lynette Schnieder, Matthew Purtle (Lisa), Teresa Millan, Carla Youngs and Jack Youngs III; his sister Joyce Taylor; and his sisters-in-law, Robin Purtle and Patty Purtle. He is also survived by his fourteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, as well as other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Crown Pointe Church (5950 NE Lakewood Way, Lee's Summit, MO 64064). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
