He is survived by: his wife DeArta Fryer; his children, Robert Stirling (Amneris) of Panama City, Florida, Patricia Douglas (David) of Rogers, Arkansas and Jennifer Baquerizo of Carlisle, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Jessica, Landis, John Matthew, Roberto, Domenica, Alexis, Kaiden, Sophia, Sydney, Ainsley and Alex; his great grandchild Santiago; his brothers, Calvin Stirling (Kathryn) of Highmore and Ernie Stirling (Shirley) of Miller; and his sister-in-law Judith Hanson (Clarence) of Huron, SD.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Shadel's Colonial Chapel (1001 Lynn St, Lebanon, MO 65536). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (1300 Kent Dr, Lebanon, MO 65536). A burial was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Ft. Leonard Wood State Veterans Cemetery-Waynesville.
