He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Thomas; his grandmother Marie Slavens Hemphill; his wife Deborah; his daughters, Angie Wright (Matt) of Lebanon and Tracy Brown (Clifton) of Lebanon; his siblings, Kenneth Hemphill of Lebanon and Betty Barker (Paul) of Sleeper, MO; his grandchildren, Jaessa Brown, Zoe, Mattie Wright, Jaden Triplett, Ryley Wolf, Ashtyn Butcher, Cooper, Evalynn, Trystan and Lillian Thygesen; his nieces, Jennifer Wolf and Sarah Thygesen; his brother Amos Hempill; and his grandson Davin Brown.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked donations be made to Shepherd's Pack.
