She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Waggoner and Nellie Richardson Waggoner; her son Billy; and her siblings, Lucian Waggoner and Helen Bryant.
She is survived by: her daughters, Phyllis Smith (Mike) of Lebanon, Retta Adams of Nashville and Sheila Semsch of Edmond, Oklahoma; and her brother Roland Waggoner of Rocky Mount. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren.
