He was predeceased by: his parents, John Young and Alpha Young; and his brother John Drake Young. He is survived by: his daughter Sammi Young; his grandchildren, Spencer Young and Rilee Jackson; his sister Elaine Ruth Harmon; and his cousin Curtis Barnett (Sam).
