It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Heather Dawn Arends of Lebanon, Missouri, born in Springfield, Missouri, who passed away on January 3, 2025, at the age of 49, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Grandma Cunningham (Grandpa Cunningham) and Grandma Blackwell (Grandpa Blackwell); her aunt Sue Schuster; her cousin Bridget Cunningham; and her friend Kenny Barker.
She is survived by: her parents, Jackie Joe and Patty Kay Cunningham (Blackwell); her husband Jason Arends; her children, Donavon E. Arends, Elizabeth Jewel Arends (Joshua Nutter) and Cynthia Jade Arends; her brother Tim Cunningham; her grandson Leo William Kenneth Arends; and her friend Sara Jordan. She is also survived by Other relatives and many loving friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Shadel's Colonial Chapel (1001 Lynn St, Lebanon, MO 65536). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Ft. Leonard Wood State Veterans Cemetery-Waynesville.
